Position Overview

Coloff Digital in Forest City, Iowa is currently seeking a Client Developer to identify, acquire and develop relationships with existing and prospective marketing clients. In developing relationships, the Client Developer will learn about a client’s business, recommend custom solutions to help their business be more successful, and collaborate with the Coloff Digital Team to execute their strategic marketing plan. This is an outside sales and service position. Occasional same day travel may be required.

Skills: Strong communication skills are required. Marketing experience is highly desired. Outside sales experience and customer service skills are a strong plus. Personable, attention to detail, problem solving, knowledge of existing and emerging digital technologies, awareness of market trends, research, self management, organization, creative thinking, strategy, analytical, and teamwork.

Responsibilities: Client Development

  • Work together with Chief Client Officer to promote Coloff Digital products & services
  • Personally prospect, sell and service Coloff Digital clientele, establishing strong relationships using the Needs Analysis Sales System
  • Develop and present custom solutions based on the unique needs of the client
  • Work with the client regularly to plan, execute and improve upon marketing efforts
  • Use CRM to keep up to date records of client and prospect communication & activities
  • Coordinate with Creative Director to originate and build on client’s creative strategy
  • Coordinate with Website Project Manager to organize website design & development
  • Coordinate with Digital Designer to put together ad campaign strategy & budgets
  • Coordinate with Design Lead to develop design projects
  • Coordinate with Video Lead to strategize and plan video projects

Responsibilities: Client Experience

  • Acting liaison between client and Coloff Digital producers
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to drive client satisfaction
  • Build momentum and add commitments with clients
  • Gain client retention and new sales through client referrals and references

Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy

  • Collaborate with the Coloff Digital Team to execute client’s marketing strategy
  • Research industry trends and provide details to the client

Responsibilities: Project Coordination

  • Coordinate information from the client and delegate to the appropriate producer
  • Follow all client projects using Monday, project management system
  • Regularly review and manage accountability for client projects with CCO & producers

  • Efficiently communicating with our clients – in-person, virtual, phone, and email
  • Research, strategize and commit to arranging meetings with prospective clients
  • Collaborate with Team for projects and campaigns
  • Discover opportunities to learn more about building relationships through involvement
