Jim is an avid beekeeper and has a storage room full of honey (and a few sting marks) to show for it. An admitted Star Wars geek, Jim claims to be one of the first people to see the original movie (Episode IV) in May of 1977. Makenzie loves to spend her time hiking, boating, longboarding, playing sports, or really anything else that involves being outside. She has a healthy (maybe unhealthy) obsession with animals, especially pandas. When he was little, Travis held a fascination for his mother’s old 8-mm video camera. And even though he still holds an appreciation for vintage stuff — whether it’s his 1964 Chevy Nova, 19th century French chef’s knife or bookshelves full of classic Sci-Fi novels — Travis feels fortunate that modern technology has made it easier for him to pursue his passion of visual storytelling.
